Yes -- 100mm, 2.8L IS Macro

I like it quite a bit.

With a 100mm prime and your 7D, about how far away from the water droplets are you when you took those shots?

Love the water droplets Mr. onzedge!

I really do need to get a macro lens. I did this one using my speedlite in slave mode. Mrs. LunaZ helped me out with spotting and holding the flash.

Although I kinda think I might have been better with a high ISO and faster shutter speed. It was a little breezy, so the flowers were moving a bit, and the bees are constantly on the move, so 1/250s doesn't seem nearly fast enough!

Really? I didn't think you could get that close with a 100mm lens. So it's like having a freakin' microscope on your camera, huh?

The macro gets very close. I am farting around with it again this weekend and I will make more precise measurements.
