i will say that around here, WB of 5400-5700 is usually what i stick to in broad daylight, closer to 6k for "magic hour"

And most of those seem blueish. I will try your WB trick ![]() Still using my 105mm 2.8 nikkor for macro though. And Alchemy, macro is with out a doubt my favorite thing right now. There is usually something interesting to capture right in your own back yard
