Thanks! Was a little tricky to set the camera horizontal on the mini tripod at first but managed. That shot is only using a UV filter as I could not see the CPL changes very well through live view. Uncropped, slight adjustment in level. :)

You may want to consider getting a hotshoe level - a three way one can be pretty handy.

Of course, for slightly more you could get a camera with a built-in level with live view ;)

Went to the zoo today. Got this random shot!

Thanks guys! i sold my t3i to my brother and bought a D7000 kit + 70-300 nikor zoom lens. He's all excited to get into this with me now hehe.

We went to the zoo today, and i think we are going to the aquarium tomorrow haha.

That's cool. It's nice to have someone to shoot with. My wife and I have a blast and always plan our trips around photo ops.

it's nice to have someone close with the same hobby. and that sushi looks. :yum: i use to be just a traditional sushi guy eating just the standard fish and rice sushi but these days im starting to like these modernized sushi's i find at more americanized japanese restaurants. :yum:

i might go out take some snaps of my G later on but not sure yet. need to wash the Z first and clean up my files inside my MBP (macbook pro).

Hah yes. I'm very indecisive with this type of purchase. I use best buy return policy a lot to try things and compare. Then I return what I don't like : ) I'm loving the D7000 so far. Miss the tilty flippy swively screen but ill live.

I agree a put Tue sushi comment. Traditional doesn't really do.it for me these days!

Ok here are a few of the snaps I just took. Nothing special. Actually shot at the bottom of my driveway. Car is dirty as heck:facepalm:
