Hey Anthony just wanted to make sure you received my core/handle return. Left at door Wednesday of last week thanks.

IPLG37 08-23-2016 01:48 PM

Do not take this as a complaint please but I did receive notification from
Fed ex that mine were picked up as well.

Just advise on core refund.

Again no attack here, just a simple question.
Thanks Anthony.

Refund processed but still waiting on funds to finish clearing.

Delay is due to somebody starting a dispute on PayPal even after we had agreed on a full refund once I receive the handles back...it was filed the same day that person shipped the package off. Once that dispute is filed, PayPal automatically withdraws that amount from my account, thus puts me in the negative. I had to add funds back into my PayPal account to bring it back to positive, thus takes 3-5 business days delay.

Strange question but I thought I would ask, can you paint them in a Carbon Fiber pattern or is the stick on CF the best solution.. I wish there was someone who made the whole assembly in CF and the mirrors too...

Hydrodip and clearcoat will get you that look. I played with hydrodip in the past and it's not as easy as it looks.

I had evo-r cf covers in the past, but kinda tacky since you can still see some silver parts from the handle.

Don't blame me for your cash flow problems. You should be properly managing your business and keeping a reserve for these types of contingencies. Or even better, just don't withdraw the money until you know your customers are satisfied with the product. Take some ownership and stop pointing fingers and making excuses.

Along those lines, the reason I filed the dispute, despite your agreement, was your lack of follow through on all your other promises and commitments. You continually delayed completion and shipment of the handles and fell short on three different dates. Not to mention all the other complaints and comments on missed commitments and poor communication in the thread above.

I don't really treat this as a "business". Be it how it is, this is just a hobby as I enjoy spraying. I have my own personal reasons for not leaving extra funds in my PayPal. And you're the first person to ever complain about the finish of the product, you did not allow for any resolve and requested for full refund which I agreed to.

After inspecting the handles that I received back from you, I still see no major flaws on the finish. One thing I noticed was a residue on the finish which matches the bubblewrap, not sure what it is, but I'm sure it'll clean off with some polish. If you're complaining about a speck or two from dust, then Lol. You're paying $250 for somebody to disassemble the handle, machine two pieces, paint, and reassemble. The finish itself is better than Nissan and their orange peel finish. The clear itself is stronger and more resistant to chips than whatever Nissan is using.

Oh have I never taken ownership of my delays? Read again. But I do not take ownership of the delays of the refund as my life isn't revolved around staying home waiting for packages to show up. If you had not had filed that dispute, all the core refunds would've went out on 8/22/16, including your full refund.

370_o 08-24-2016 07:44 PM

It's funny how you keep making comparisons to other people's work, like Nissan or other shops, and making statements about how much people are getting for the $250, to justify whatever product you're delivering. It wasn't "a speck or two" on the handles. There were several "specks" and what looked like a deflated bubble in one. You even argued with me about it over PM and stated: "Is the imperfections even noticeable with the handles mounted and standing 2-3 ft away?" Then in an above post made some comment about solvent pop. To me it clearly sounds like you know the poor quality being sent out and just don't care. It wasn't even $250 work in my opinion. I've seen work for $150 from other shops on small parts that looked flawless. Going through you really just goes back to the core swap convenience.

I didn't state take ownership of the delays. You're quite vocal about that and telling people to leave you alone because you don't have time or have some other reason why not to deliver. I stated you should take ownership of your cash flow problem and issuing refunds. It's not my fault you don't have the proper funds.

What it boils down to is simple. Either you have the time and attention to run a proper business or you don't. Sounds like you don't. If it's a hobby, then don't charge people, just do it for fun. But don't get defensive when people get upset that the handles they paid for a month ago arrived massively delayed and with subpar quality. As I stated before though, shame on me for expecting any different.

Good news is I just received my new handles, side markers, emblems, and badges to have a professional local shop paint and do this the right way.

Have to say I am loving mine. Paint finish was awesome. Seller responded to questions via PM post sale which says a lot.

Batch is getting sprayed tomorrow, assembled over the weekend, and ready to ship come Monday.

Well batch won't get sprayed until late next week. Paint booth owner just notified me that the air compressor is down and won't be working again until sometime late next week as they're waiting for parts.

I spoke with you about a week and a half ago. The air compressor is still down for repairs per the owner. I tried to go an alternate route to get the handles sprayed but the finish did not come out well. PM me if you want a refund.

I really do not like doing pearl as it's time consuming since it is a tricoat. I have done it in the past but I require 3+ to commit to orders. On top of that, the finish is not 100% match since the white is slightly brighter. Some people are fine with it but some are not.

He'll probably be ok with it - he just needs to find 2 others to join if he wants to place an order. He's got white plasti-dipped handles currently, so yours will definitely be an improvement in both color and finish.

I have been trying to PM you but no reply. You totally made me miss my deadline and didn't bother to let me know when you know I need them. I was patient this whole time. Please refund my money asap!

Still waiting on reply. I really don't want to blast you on the message board. But this whole process has just caused all sorts of delays and problems for me. I just wished you communicated better and your eta's are valid. Pretty disappointed right now with everything and I have been patient and understanding for many weeks. Please respond soon.

Very frustrated!

Please DO NOT post PM's in public thats why their supposed to be private messages.

Now member equalme has been giving the opportunity to do this service for quite awhile with very little issues that I have been made aware of. Im sure he will address your needs.

Please keep it to PM's before putting people on blast unless every single reasonable opportunity has been given.

Totally understand the frustration but it's not like member equalme has totally been ignoring you from what I've seen.

Hope that it all gets sorted out civilly.

Trips.

I only posted it cause I been trying to send him a PM with no response and I need to show him that I've been trying to PM him without a response. Why won't he just respond or PM me. Instead he wants me to chase my refund by PMing him which he does not respond. So, I am letting him know here. Please refund me asap or I will file a Paypal dispute.

So unprofessional...

:iagree:

Equalme has been very forthcoming about the fact that this isn't his main job and that he is unable to provide the level of customer service that a full shop can provide. But he is keen to make sure the finish is perfect for shipping, and he is quick to offer refunds for unsatisfied customers even though most of them just seem to be impatient tools who didn't do their research first. I would not hesitate to use his service, but I would go in knowing that delays are very possible and that the final product will be top notch.

Unprofessional, you say? You obviously didn't read through this thread - equalme is not doing this as a profession. He's doing it on the side because he has access to the necessary equipment and knows how to do it right and wants to provide a service to the community. It's unreasonable people like you who ultimately deter people like equalme from providing services such as this. Shame on you; I'm glad equalme hasn't let those people get to him yet.

Not sure why you are protecting Beemaaz on this and coming at me.

First, I am only posting my experience and issues I had with the order. I believe everyone has the right to know what goes on in this botched transaction. I'm not knocking on his quality work that you guys speak of, since I didn't even have the chance to check it out.

Second, I did read the entire thread before I considered placing an order. I provided him adequate time to fulfill the order. This is after him PMing me saying he has a extra set waiting for me. However, when I replied it was gone already and he said "I'll have another set ready in week". Which I agreed to that is fine. Now it's after 7 weeks and a bunch of no replies.

Third, You to be wonder where the hell is this order after about 7 weeks. Beemaaz told me to move on? how can I when I am short $400 without any product.

I'm not here to pick fights with trolls. Just posting my experience and troubles with the order.

The transaction may seem botched from your unreasonable perspective. But I just see a delayed order due to circumstances outside equalme's control (i.e. compressor is down).

Is that 7 weeks total wait? Because if you gave up at that point, then you obviously didn't read the thread. Sounds like you were just unlucky with timing in missing that extra set and then having the compressor go down to where he couldn't meet his deadline. $hit happens.

Well, from all the information you've posted, it sounds like you were too impatient to wait for a quality product when it was well known that delays are possible. You were certainly a bit unlucky in timing, but that's not equalme's fault.

I'm more concerned that he did not follow up with me and did not keep his word. Last message I receive from equalme is that he will have it done and shipped to me by 10/7 or 10/8 at the latest. I also noted to him that if he cannot ship it to me by that date to cancel my order. When I tried to follow up with him a few days before to see if he did ship the item out already. This is when there is no more communication from him. So I posted on the forum to get his attention and now here we are. So I have been understanding to extent but will not be taken a fool and lied to.
