This guy is doing this in his spare time as a hobby. If he wanted to treat this like a business, he'd be charging us all a hell of a lot more money than he does. You went this route because you've seen the amazing work he's done for others on this forum and you didn't want to pay as much as your local shop was going to charge you. Cut the guy some slack.

Pay attention to your paypal account and if you haven't seen any action on his part, get a full refund. You lose nothing, just ask any else who's ever done this before. After that you can feel free to bash the guy in a post but you don't have to be constantly on his nuts every day because he's not responding fast enough in your opinion.

Hell I didn't except to see my handles for about a month and they're already moving out after just one week from when I requested them.

P.S. you can argue with my opinion on this subject as much as you want, I will not respond because I've said all that I need to.

Yeah I moved them around when I was spraying the clear as the matte clear I have to do separately so it doesn't get into the other handles that are gloss finish.

Thanks for the supportive words!

Ok- just some notes for the folks that haven't done
This mod yet...
Here's my .02 cents on the "install" and
The awesome work by Anthony.!

First off-

Let me say that the aftermath is spectacular.!
And... Anthony's finish work was spot on.
I'm not easy to impress, but these are
Definitely well worth the time now that
I've had the chance to have them,
See them first hand and install them.

I wanted to give an overview-

*** Disclaimer *** :
This has nothing to do with buying these
Handles from Anthony or the finished product he provided me. His part to ease everyone considering this was outstanding.!

But this mod- wow... Yeah, well
It's not very easy to say the least.
Thank god for my wife I don't have
Huge hands, but honestly between
The 2 of us we were able to get it
Done after 3 hrs. Start to finish both
Sides, with some learning curves and
Hiccups to be expected if you've never
Done door handles before... You will
See what I mean.

But having said that... I will say this- if I had to do it again
It would be easier I believe... Now that I've done one set.
A second set would be much easier I'm quite sure now.!
Props to Anthony, I'd never do this without buying
From him.
The job is hard enough- trust me and I
Feel I'm very capable of most any mod.

But my wife and I were able to pull this off
Without any scratches or anything on the
Car or handles.

Definitely very challenging to say the least.
Read the instructions very well.
I can help if anyone needs it.

Do one side and take a break. (I personally recommend so you don't Get frustrated.)

The tabs are definitely the hardest part
Besides the manual door key lock itself - (you have little room I cannot stress enough to work with.) The "Little" amount of room inside the door is just Ridiculously tight On either side in my opinion.
However, Your assessment could vary.

*** Please Note*** - I did not remove the handle from the lock mechanism as the 2 screw heads started to immediately strip on the first few small attempts from the Ridiculous Amount of loctite Nissan uses... Good lord.
After reading horror stories, we did the job leaving the handles attached To the blue clip locking mechanism. (Nissan could have provided longer wiring just my
Honest opinion - Just sayin.)

I also wanted Anthony to be able to reuse these screws
So I decided to leave them in tact for him.
(Side note- Theres no way you are gonna get those 2 screws Out unless ur very lucky.! Or drill them out.!)

If you don't want to scratch your door,
Have a second person especially with small
Hands. (They don't have to be car savvy but definitely need to be attentive.)
Lol. - Funny haha, but not kidding.
Both mine and my wife's hands are pretty
Beat up.

But to sum it up... This was well worth the
Price to have the handles already painted, assembled and ready to swap as Anthony provided very well in my honest opinion.

The reward aftwards is immediate satisfaction.

Enjoy folks... Have Fun with it in all seriousness, and just try to stay calm and don't get too stressed as this can certainly can Be done. Just don't throw anything... Lol.

I did this mod fine in my opinion, it's very tedious and I'm super OCD. I was also successful to not drop anything inside the doors as well Woohoo.! ( Hint - A small telescoping magnet will be your best friend on this job.! ) I feel you guys that haven't done this yet deserve to know ahead to just be prepared is all I recommend. The tools are very minimal, but it's time consuming If it's your first time in all fairness.

In my final review-

All in all I'm very satisfied with this mod.!
Thank you again Anthony... Great job
On ur attention to detail on having everything prepared and ready to go.
The paint job was in all honesty for all the curves, and super tiny detailed areas were all Done very very professionally.!
Great work my man.!
:D

And FYI - Anthony, I'm returning the core to
The address you sent them from tomorrow
Afternoon. I assume that's correct.?
I'll send tracking info as well.

Let me know when you get them so
I can get my refund for the core charge as well.

Enjoy the attached pic of the final product on
A magnetic black 2016 nismo.!
:)

Wonderful review and write up Bryan! I agree that Nissan went overboard with loc-tite on those screws, about 75% of the screws I have to remove gets stripped.

IPLG37 08-10-2016 07:02 PM

I left them all in tact for you to "try" and remove.
Once the screwdriver spun once i knew it would be
A bust... So I figured I'd try and save you some hassle.

I'm glad I worked with you and without your great
Paint job and assembly I would've passed on this
Mod all together.

But I'm so glad you came back.
Sorry for the hard time in the beginning as well
On my behalf.

I hope my reviews and help will
Make up for my shortcomings of trust.
You are definitely a hard worker and
It shows.

When ppl see your handles they will understand
How hard this must really be.

I know I couldn't paint them - no way.!
Mad props to you for all the hard work
You do helping to make all of our Zs look
Better!

I even gave you big thumbs up and props
On my IG page too brother.!

I'm proud to own these and display both
Our hard work that went into these!
:)

Omg... But ur sooo right.
I know if there's a shortage of loctite.
I know where it all went.
Into every Nissan car on the market.!
Good lord.!... Not to mention their shift
Knob removal too.
They must dump bottles into one car no doubt.
Lol.
:D

Keep up the strong work my man!
It shows.

If I can ever help I'd be more than
Happy as well.
I enjoyed the write up and hope
I can help others who are on
The fence that there is hope!
And We are here to help too.!

Beautiful! Thank you for the pictures and review.

99% I can repair minor damages to the handles. Those screws are loc-tited so much that 50% of the time the inserts becomes loose and starts free-spinning. I have found that industrial grade epoxy actually secures them better than what they're using from factory.

370_o 08-15-2016 02:40 PM

The quality of the paint work on these door handles must wildly vary because the ones I received on Saturday had several issues. Both handles had several spec marks and one even had what looked like a small bubble, or area that was welling, that had a pin hole mark as if it had been purposely deflated. After a month of waiting, poor communication, and all the non-stop drama on this forum, I probably shouldn't be surprised but am still fairly disappointed. I shipped mine back for a refund today.

Buyer beware. Despite the cost, lengthy wait time, and claims of workmanship, this is nowhere near professional quality. The convenience of a core swap may be there but it's not worth the hassle and let down.

Hopefully others have had better luck with these.

equalme 08-15-2016 03:03 PM

Thanks for your honest review. But as I stated earlier in out private conversation, the "pin holes" you mention is solvent pop. Happens when the ambient temperature is high and the final coat flashes before the previous coat finished gassing off. It's a common problem that is fixed by sanding/polishing, if needed, another coat of clear. And as I've stated in the past, I had tried using three "professional" shops to do the painting for me but they came out terrible.

In the last PM that I sent you, which you replied back to, I told you the package wasn't ready to be picked up on Monday when I was heading out of town and that I'll be back in town Thursday/Friday to pick it up.

Fedex attempted delivery last Friday, I was at work, they didn't leave it because you requested for signature. I requested for the package to be held at the local Fedex that same day. I went by the local Fedex on Monday before I was headed out of town, it wasn't ready for pick up. I'll be back in town tomorrow evening as I stated in the PM earlier this week.

FYI, for those that are shipping the handles back to me. I highly recommend USPS Priority, ~$10-13, 2-3 day shipping, and USPS have personal lockboxes at my complex. If you request signature, expect a delay as I'm rarely home during business hours.

Sigh. I just don't even know how to reply anymore.

How many more times do I have to say that I'm out of town. Just because USPS/Fedex/UPS says they delivered it doesn't mean that I received it. They can either leave it in front of my door, toss it over my patio, or leave it in the lock box.

And if I'm not mistaken, you opened up a Paypal dispute the same day you dropped the package off to return to me. Now that my balance is negative, that delays the core return refunds as I have to transfer money from my bank into the Paypal account which takes 3-5 business days.

Update for the others waiting:
I'm still out of town, flight is delayed and looks like I won't be back until Sunday evening. I'm off all of Monday so I will finish dealing with the refunds and drama then...hopefully my Paypal account is fully active again due to the dispute.

Outstanding core refunds:
-Russw007
-OTW-Z-Boy
-IPLG37 - Pending pickup from Fedex - I called and notified them I will pick up on Monday and they have no issues extending the hold date if needed.
-370_o

Outstanding order:
-CjBinder - Replacement driver door handle

IPLG37 08-19-2016 05:42 PM

Thanks for the update Anthony.
I appreciate you giving the info out to me
on my hold with fedex - sounds like that's going
To be fine.

Anthony,
Strange question but I thought I would ask, can you paint them in a Carbon Fiber pattern or is the stick on CF the best solution.. I wish there was someone who made the whole assembly in CF and the mirrors too...

cooltoy 08-23-2016 07:08 AM

Can't paint a pattern. You can buy Eco-r cf covers. For mirrors too.

OTW Z-Boy 08-23-2016 08:06 AM

Or find a place that can dip them $$$
