Also, it's worth mentioning that the door cards are fairly easily removed. There are three bolts to remove, and you'll want to pop up the window/locking control area out, and then the door panel pops off with a gentle tug. The hardest part is feeding the window/locking control panel through the door card without scratching. The card is held on by a large number of phillips-head screws. It's very easy to do as a two-person job.

So, if you're considering the seats, consider shelling out for the door cards. IMO, it's worth it to make it all look consistent.

ask me how I know

So if you had a touring model (already heated seats, buttons for seats, etc.) would it be just a straight matter of unbolting and putting the new ones in?

yes. You also have to deal with the wires for the electronics, but that's not too hard.

I think some people are forgetting that they will be able to sell their touring seats to someone else with a base Z for a good chunk of change and hardly be spending any money. The swap would be extremely simple for the buyer. I want them also.

I'll PM you tomorrow I might take them after a discussion w/ the GF, assuming no one else got them.

Correct. Someone with experience could switch seats between two cars in less than an hour.
You do not even have to switch the seat buckles
I unplugged the battery to reset the Airbags just in case.
