Well I drive a 350Z HR, which is said to be the most sensitive when it comes to CEL from test pipes, so keep that in mind. But I did have a CEL from the test pipes. Not sure about 370Z. I just ignored it as it didn't cause any drivability issues. You could get O2 sensor extenders / de-foulers from Autozone or online which would probably do the trick, especially if you stuffed them with steel wool. I just didn't mind the CEL personally.
