Default Nissan Flowgo

I designed a new emblem for my car, in order to route some more air to the intake.

It's a flow-through badge using the new Nissan Logo style and has rear options for flowing straight back (most CAIs), directing air flow to just one side (my Rotrex intake, 350Z's), or directing air to both sides (OEM box, AFE intake).

Printed from ASA, with options for dark gray contrast logo material, or all black.

Fitment has been verified with V1 Nismo and base bumpers, with upcoming verification for 350Z bumpers and Nismo V2.

Prices (shipped):
$45 for emblem with flow-through (simple ring to hold the back)
$55 for emblems with back pieces to flow right or both ways
+$10 for multi color logo (black with dark gray)

Forum discount code for $5 off: THE370ZFORUM

Can message me here for purchasing, or buy from my site https://370zed.com/products/nissan-flowbadge-370z-nismo

Personal experiences and thoughts:
The car gets almost as many questions about the badge as it does the supercharger (when I have the hood open).
For some reason, I started getting way more attention driving around with this on. I dunno if it's just about getting rid of the old chrome logo, but the larger dark emblem really pulls together the front for me.

Love it! I've been wanting to do something with the new logo. Any thoughts about adding some kind of mesh to keep debris from striking filter elements?

Dig it but up close they look a little unfinished. Only interest I'd have would be for more cooling air flow and no idea if it would make much difference on a SC application.

Hard stuff would hit the plastic backing on the styles that flow left/right or one direction only. The fully flow through one wouldn't have anything. I think cutting metal mesh would be more effective than printing, but adding printed mesh wouldn't be too hard.

For finish, ASA is very sandable. Similar to ABS.

Damn, bought one on Saturday before you posted this!

Stoked to install this. Thanks for the quick shipping. I'll probably put some mesh behind mine, did the same thing on my brake ducts.

Great innovation! Well done sir

What are your thoughts on rain penetration? I only ask in reference to the Takeda Stage 2 intakes; the location of the air filter feels like it might be susceptible to water striking it directly through the opening. The filter location of pretty much every other intake available would not have this issue.

Also, you should consider doing one that says Z instead of Nissan

Hmmmm, the side exit ones would effectively stop rain from immediately hitting it. I could then make a hole at the bottom for water to drain out.

I'd be open to designing one with the Z as well. Will put that on my to-dos for June.

Purchased.

Anyone worried about light water getting through, how about hydrophobic prefilters?

Bump, had a couple more people install, and positive feedback so far.
Have a guy in Europe who'll be verifying fitment with the 350Z bumper too.

It will definitely work with the Nismo v2 bumper cover.

However, I failed to consider the actual filter location for my Takeda cold air intake. It's a no-go for any intake with a large center-mounted filter.

How big is the flowgo?

Thanks for sharing. I wondered if it would fit as I have the takeda too.

It's a 4.75" hole and the flange behind it is about 1". Total diameter is about 5"
There's room to break it off and be thinner. The ring for the flow through design is about 10mm deep.
