3.3 Final drive gear set - Ready to ship

Debating going with a lower final drive gear when my diff comes out next week... Decided that if i can get one in time I’ll go for it. As stated I’m looking for a 3.3 final drive which comes out of the automatic transmission models if I’m not mistaken.

Willing to pay or trade for my manual transmition 3.69. Looking to pull out the diff in the next week or two so this would NEED to be ready to ship. Thanks!

UPDATE: Was informed that the two may be different sizes and may not be interchangeable. Any information on this would be appreciated.

I swapped out my complete auto diff for a manual diff with no problems or extra parts needed. So a complete diff swap is not a problem. If you just want to swap gearing from the auto to manual then that won't work if I remember correctly.

39,000 on the car now. Didn’t realize that you couldn’t just swap out the gear set so I’m not sure what my plan is now. Will still consider swapping or selling my diff although I need to put some thought into it now as that kind of put a fork into my plans.

If your factory stub shafts are threaded; then they're just like the 7A/T & a direct swap.
You will want to ensure the 3.357 geared diff has some type of locker,,,as on the base-they were open.
I added a Quaife helical locker to mine; but no plans to part with it...I picked up a VLSD 3.69 from a 13' Nismo & went right in....@70mph about 200-250rpm difference in cruising speed & speedo work's correctly,as the speed sensor's read output speed from the toner rings on stub shaft's.

I still have my stock auto one I removed that I would be willing to sale but shipping is probably gonna be expensive since it's heavy unless you know of a cheaper way of shipping it other than ups or fed ex.

Just getting back from a cruise, had no service for a while... I will be upgrading to the OS Giken diff and sticking with the 3.6 final drive. Thank you everyone for your input & offers.

Yes I will be swapping it out and have the stock one up for sale. PM me with your contact info & I’ll get in touch. Not sure exactly how much I would like for it at the moment.
