Fifi- remind me if you got the Tanabe exhaust on the Rex? I know you had the springs but not sure about your exhaust

I do too, normally I can get 5 qts of M1 & the M1 filter for about $32 from Pep Boys. The filter is in fact the same size so it makes it even easier for me to remember when I have to change it.

that's a great price on the filter and jug!

my 09 uses 5w20 but i think my '12 uses 0w20 or something which i dont think is part of that $25 deal at walmart for the 5qt jug.

cool, the tanabe muffler is pretty good, i like the sound. i like my swift springs though. in my area the tanabe's paint chipped away in 3months when i had it on my first Fit back 6yrs ago.

I will be using a 5w20, thanks for reminding me what it was.

How accurate do you believe the maintenance reminder is? Is it based on mileage or how you drive the car?

gotta admit that if i had more spare cash i probably would've bought an exhaust for the subaru that didn't drone like a vuvuzela.

I am worried about scraping my exhaust leaving my driveway but equally worried about marking sure it doesn't make me sound like a ricer

The Tanabe covers on both these fronts

Here is the latest look:

Added a 5mm spacer in the rear and also the OEM door visors, exterior-wise the car is done.

I believe there is a Cusco or Spoon front swaybar but honestly with the lowered suspension and lower-profile tires this thing has such good turn in and road feel that I don't need sways.
