If I wasn't still spending money on the Z I would steal some of your mods. I really would like the exhaust, springs, and some wheels though.

I understand completely, especially since Z parts are so expensive.

If you wait you could get those all used, I'm noticing a lot of people are parting out their cars lately.

How are you enjoying the car now that it's been a few months?

speedfreek 01-29-2014 04:29 PM

I am still enjoying it. Mostly for the fact the Z gets to stay in the garage and only come out on nice sunny days primarily on the weekends right now until Spring finally gets here. That alone makes it worth the price of purchase. The extra cargo space and mpgs are a bonus. I really need to give mine a bath though. Single digits as of late has been too cold along with the snowapocolypse that has traversed the South since yesterday. Luckily the snow missed my area for the most part. We only got a light dusting.

I have started to miss driving the Z more since it is no longer my daily. I think the inverse is starting to happen where I am starting to wonder is it worth keeping a car I hardly drive anymore. As I continue buying more parts for it. Warm weather can't get here soon enough so I can drive it more and hopefully attend a couple more track days this year.

To get back on topic: Your Fit keeps getting better. Tastefully modded for sure.

I heard it's been crazy weather in your area, it's good that you have the Fit so the Z can be saved from being exposed to that. You now sound like me with the Z, I will admit I have thought about whether I should just get rid of it since the Fit is so much easier to drive everyday.

With time now that feeling that I want to sell it went away and I just drive my Z for my own enjoyment a few times a week. It definitely does make me not want to do anything else to me Z unless I'm replacing a broken part.

I think if you can at least get the Z out once a week it makes you remember why you loved it in the first place and helps justify you modding it

Do you think you will ever get back into a sports car once you get out of school?

for your 350Z? wow, cause on my G the gas pedal is like the traditional top pivoting type. i dont think i spent that kind of $ on my G's factory aluminum pedals.

the 370Z's you have to buy the entire assembly for the gas pedal.
