I couldn't agree more.

The versatility of the hatch allows me to carry so much more than if it had a trunk and that is really what attracted me to buying the Fit.

I always thought the Fit was a sedan already/hatch because of the 4 doors but they are wanting to add a real trunk. Hmmmmm interesting.

I know, well it makes sense somewhat since the Yaris and Versa are both offered in a sedan version. I won't be buying it though :icon17:

yep, makes carrying wheels a breeze. not so much on a sedan...cause you'd have to lay towels or bag the wheels not to stain the seats..only to find you can only place one wheel with tire in the trunk. :ugh: really not much better than having a coupe.

Just completed 5 months of ownership and nearly 5,000 miles so took her in for an oil change even though the gauge said 40% to be on the safe side

http://i638.photobucket.com/albums/u...psae2165a9.jpg

Oil still looked really good but now officially running on Mobil 1 and the M1 110 filter

Also did a tire rotation and the tires are wearing evenly, so no problems reported at all

kenchan 10-16-2013 04:18 PM

waizzz- you dont do your own oil change?

 on m1. im running the green cap (0W20) in my '12. :D

I'm running the 5w20 ;)

I have nowhere to do an oil change since my drive way is too steep and I can't get into my garage with either of my cars. :icon17:

It also allows me to check other things when I go to my mechanic and considering I will go around 5k between oil changes it means I will see him twice a year so not a big deal at all

Ken has already seen this but someone just modded a JDM 2014, I think it looks pretty damn good

I like the new front end. The rest not so much.

How is the Fit treating you David?

I'm 7 months in of ownership and honestly this car is perfect for me and I am glad I bought the car!

It's getting the job done. I am still enjoying it along with the good gas mileage and plenty of room to haul stuff. It definitely fits the bill for what I needed in a daily. I agree with both of you on all counts on why I chose the Fit over a sedan for a daily.

waizzz- yah, i saw that yesterday. i think the front looks good, but not sure about the rear. :ugh:

my fit is the last 4dr hatch i will buy for a while, so im not really interested in the new fits as much as i was when the GE's came out. :icon17:

Oh thats good to hear, I mean I went from $70 a week in gas to $27 that alone nearly pays for the car by itself

I just love the versatility of this car and the fact that I can still have fun with it

have you seen the new leaked mini-suv honda picture ? that might work for my wife. it's shorter than the CRV, and a lot sportier looking than the CRV.
