I really need an excuse to drive my Z so I might just bring that instead.

I went from driving it everyday to once a week so I need to make sure she stays fresh

SgtGoldy 06-26-2013 10:17 AM

I worry more about the brakes and tires than I do the battery but yeah also don't want to run that down either.

I will probably end up driving it to the store tonight just so I can make sure to keep everything in working order.

Yep that's the Touring Medallion, loving it so far as well!

 cool. yah, the fitment is perfect and the tip is larger but not ricy looking at tall vs stock. :)

my kids dont complain about drone in the back seat so that's also a plus.

The fitment was really what sold me on it, I didn't want a really big muffler since every other one that I saw hung really low and I was afraid I would scrape it in my epic fail of a driveway.

If I didn't say anything the people in my carpool wouldn't have even known that the exhaust was replaced but I am really happy with it. Just cruising around town it has a nice tone and on the freeway I noticed no droning. You can really tell the quality in the construction

I saw this Fit today on the Fit forum from a former Z owner and it convinced me to buy the rear bumper applique

http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c2...T/DSC01269.jpg

I sit on the rear hatch opening all the time when I clean off my feet after surf so this will help protect the rear bumper and also give me a little black contrast for the rear bumper

kenchan 06-29-2013 07:24 AM

Looks good!

but hope he didnt have to sell the z and settle on a fit. :ugh:
while the fit is a fantastic dd for the price , i would never sell my z and settle on a fit. :D

Did a little photoshoot close to sundown to highlight some of the new mods

In this shot you can see all the newest stuff.. My 5mm spacers on the rear wheels, window visors, and Tanabe exhaust

http://i638.photobucket.com/albums/u...ps320fed1e.jpg

Rear profile showing off the fitment, I think I have it dailed in and it doesn't rub at all even with 4 passengers in the car
http://i638.photobucket.com/albums/u...ps6359bcd0.jpg

I love these wheels, such a high quality finish and so easy to keep clean
http://i638.photobucket.com/albums/u...ps62b29780.jpg

I like this angle, shows how much the visors cover the window and add's some sportyness to the car
http://i638.photobucket.com/albums/u...psaf45b89e.jpg

Cliche turned-wheel photo
http://i638.photobucket.com/albums/u...ps14901324.jpg

Ride height is perfect, never rubs and I can still get in and out of steep driveways
http://i638.photobucket.com/albums/u...ps62b5e0b4.jpg

Tanabe Medallion Touring exhaust :yum:
http://i638.photobucket.com/albums/u...ps810d57e5.jpg

Rearshot of the exhaust, doesn't hang low at all and is discrete looking but really gives the engine a nice response

His Z is long gone, sometimes you just have to be practical and move on. I am trying to keep my Z as long as I can and will be moving to a place with a garage in the coming months so I can stop worrying about parking both cars outside

I didn't know Honda went back with Taffeta white, I love it. My 97 Civic EX was Taffeta if I am remembering correctly. Anyway, the Fit it way to cute, I would rock that as a DD for sure. Good looking!
