Objectively speaking, would a bond movie be better marketing for ford's mustang than transformers for chevy's camaro?

It depends on the market Ford wants to reach.
Transformers is a younger generation and has worked for GM to sell the Camaro (especially with transformer editions).

Yeah, debating who's the best Bond usually ends up with blood shed. As long as everone agrees that Connery is at the top of the list I won't have to stab anyone today.

Brosnan was good in Goldeneye. Unfortunately for him the directors of the subsequent films really let him down.

Goldeneye also brought Judi Dench to the series. By far the best M. She is just sooo cold!
