Your explanation is why i thought the camaro won. The track looked like it was designed where entry and exit was more important than midcorner speeds on this "particular track" It wasn't that it was curvy that gave the camaro the advantage, it was more like the type of curve. I know the mustang has "the advantage on many types of tracks. But Willow just looked like on film like IRS would have an advantage on that track.

I was specific in saying IRS had an advantage on "THAT" track, but you went and jumped the gun thinking I was generalizing. FANBOY REACTION!!!

Oh you're right about the camaro having a better shock and tire set-up and that is the GENERAL advantage on the camaro. Live axle is the general advantage of the mustang being a track car...

Sorry i didn't explain what i mean, when i said it's very curvy, maybe i should have elaborated but... Damn.
Ok, now I'm confused.

You said, "Willow is very curvy. IRS will have the advantage."

I took that as, "IRS will have the advantage because Willow is very curvy."

I just wanted to know exactly WHY you feel like IRS would have the advantage on this particular track aside from just a generalization. I pointed out that I didn't think IRS/SRA made much of a difference regardless of track given how both have inherent advantages/disadvantages. I believe it's more tire/shock related than anything else.

Wasn't meant to be a big scene.

naw sorry man. i didnt mean it like that. I did say that. there's a lot of sharp turns. thats what i should have said. Entry and exit advantage is needed in sharp turns vs mid-corner speeds is needed to enter s-curves better. theres too much play in IRS in the S's vs LA. But in corners its the oposite. The IRS modulates better to get around the corner

But that said, suspension mods for IRS work wonders. So don't sleep on IRS. threw that in since u went fanboy

Well if you just look at the comments from the video (from the pro driver) the difference was the shocks and the difference in grip from the tires. Pobst addressed the SRA issue and didn't mention it when talking about why the Camaro was faster.
