Back to the question, I personally prefer the Lexus. They ride so smooth and gf/wife-friendly. I own a g35 coupe too. It doesn't really give you much smoother feeling then the Z. As for the bimers, they are always nice... when they are under the warranty. So be caution if you planning on a used one.
This is another approach*. So just have her sell the Z and get what she wants. Problem solved.
