The Nissan Delta Wing

I didn't know they were developing it with Nissan! I happen to know Ben Bowlby - his son races karts at the same track as I do. I've always said hi & chatted with him for years, never realizing he was a car designer. Didn't know it until the release of the DW.

maybe I can get a ride in it now since...y'know..I have a Nissan, too!

I saw the videos and it looks cool, but I don't understand how it gets "substantial weight savings" just from the shape (compared to regular single seaters).
