I had some issues, but I think he had some more serious ones. I had the ECU whine and the throttle lag/bogging. They probably contributed somewhat to my decision but definitely weren't the driving force.

It will be a while before 370z is as popular as, if not more than, 350z.

I think it's a great car. Upon getting rid of my Z, I was seriously looking in the direction of the GT or possibly the new GT500. But in the end, I also got rid of my SUV so I needed a 4 door.

Sure it's a little bigger and heavier than the Z, but then so is my M3

There were also much fewer 370Z's produced than 350Z's so it will never really be as popular.

Correct. The 350Z sold somewhere on the order of 30k units a year.

The 370Z sold ~10k in the first year and is averaging 7-8k for each year after that. It's just not the same market it was so it's not going to be as popular as the 350.

Good. I hated seeing all those riced out 350Z's and kids driving G35's. I hope the 370 never becomes popular like the 350

Actually there is some truth in that...for the most part the 370z has been sold a more mature crowd.

Actually, the reason the 350Z sold so well was on the reputation of the 2004 1/2 model......flawless!

irrefutable logic.

I blame some of the 370z's slow numbers on poor advertising. It was released when the culture of advertising PR was based around eco vehicles and crossovers.
