The rear is slowly growing on me... what still bothers me is the side vent also has a Z line running into it. which makes it look forced, but in the right angles, you don't notice it too much.

Mike where did you find those pics? I saw other ones of a group of them in AZ but it was black, blue and red.

I love that blue but I want to see more of the yellow!

A friend posted them on facebook.

It looks nice when it's clean though.

Isn't Joe Flacco the only one with a 2014 Corvette?

b1adesofcha0s 02-13-2013 04:16 PM

He's the 2nd owner (the first was auctioned off for charity), but this one was a manufacturer's test model.

I was just treated with a tour of a Red 2009 ZR1 with $24,000 worth of leather interior work including red stiching like a Ferrari. Apparently the carbon fiber seats are uncomfortable. He also had an exhaust for $3,200 plus a carbon fiber rear splitter. It sounded wonderful.

He said they stopped making ZR1's (LS9) for some reason. Then why make the Camaro ZL1? I thought it had the same engine.

ZL1 has a LSA, motor from a CTS-V.

They didn't stop making the LS9 ZR1, the 2013 model is available now. And the ZL1 has the LSA engine, same as a CTS-V.

I know I may be in the minority here, but I'm excited that they're releasing it in green.

While I also would prefer a lighter shade, I really want a green Vette. If the Z was offered in green, I would have bought that.

the C4 and C5 were serious disappointments to me. I preferred classic vettes. By 2008, the corvette regnited my old flame for vette. 2010 made me a undercover fanboy.:shakes head: The C7.... It's just going to be a sick performer. The looks to me are ok, But aesthetically and on paper, the car is sick.

Pretty much agree with everything you just said!

The 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Will Cost Just $51,995

Quote:

With a base price of $51,995, it's just $2,000 more than a C6. If you want to chop the top off, set aside an extra $5,000 for the convertible. It starts at $56,995.

I wonder how much a fully optioned Z51 will run, with markup. Probably a lot. :)
