This car was minimalist high revving fun

I thought it was fast and 2nd gear was a kick, revving up to 8k if memory serves... I was heart-broken when then girlfriend smoked me in quarter mile in her VW whatever... I eventually wrapped her (the car) around a pedestrian crossing sign trying to dodge a station wagon that pulled out of a driveway while I was out looking for trouble and cruising 100+mph at 2am with a buddy
