Last night i installed the FIC 1100cc injectors and clipse's base tune. Today me and Pounder installed the FP Red. Took as just over 6 hours to do. I was doing it at the auto club shop on the base and they closed at 4 so the last 30mins we were cutting corners so i didnt have to leave the car over night. I got home and finished most of the work. All that i have to do is readjust the downpipe because we cant get 2 bolts into the o2 housing because of the gasket being off by like 1mm. I also have to bolt in the 1 bolt that holds the compressor on the bottom.

Obviously i havent felt any difference because im not going into boost but you can defently hear the turbo spool alot louder then the stock turbo. Heres two pictures from today. Sorry for the quality, they are from my cell.

Just the quick update.

We started the tuning and by we i mean my tuner and me just doing the data log. After a few days he couldnt get the scaling right for the injectors because the intake was causing things to screw up. So i put the stock injectors back in for now and we almost got the maf scaling done. Heres a quick video of the sound of the turbo spooling up. (the high pitched whistle)

Yea it will sound even better when its fully tuned. Once i put the 3port soldnoid on (before all the tuning started) I set my Wastegate duty cycle tables to 0 so i wont over boost. Ever since then the sound of the turbo and intake have been really quiet. I did another data log today, my tuner said we are almost done the MAF scaling and might be able to get the injectors back in today, depending how the next log or two goes.

Word, thanks.

I'm kind of on the fence as to whether to use Royal Purple/ Castrol like I have been or go with some expensive **** like Motul considering most of my driving is done racing.

Yea i got no complaints with it. A few people in the Evo world hate royal purple and said they had it burn oil. I changed mine 2000km's ago, switched from oem (Mobile1) to RP and its at the same level, even with the new turbo. On top of that, the place i get the oil from, i get military discount

I also ran RP in my SRT-10 for about 20,000km and no complaints.

Just past the 400whp mark I made 401hp 363trq today...still got more tuning to do I tried my 2 step launch control. The stock clutch cant handle it. It can hold me but it heats up to a point where i wont grab when i shift to 2nd.

Heres the latest dyno results. Just a few more adjustments to make to smooth the boost and afr out. But its pretty much where i want it for power on the stock block.

Also here is the Perrin Rear Sway bar and endlink. Never got a picture when i installed it and i was doing a few adjustments the other day so i snapped a picture.

And I have one more part coming. The other week we got a pretty nasty snow storm which somehow ripped off the oem plastic under panel. So i orderd the SSP Aluminum panel. Next friday is the opening night of drag racing but it might be raining. Saturday is the opening day of Time Attack racing and thats rain or shine so ill defently be putting the car to the test.

The little clutch that couldnt....

clutch started slipping the other day. I'm ordering...

ACT heavy Duty 6 puck clutch kit
ACT Streetlite Flywheel
Magnus CMC

Until i get those installed, drag racing and time attack is on hold for me Sucks because i paid $160 for this weekends race and its non-refundable. I'm hoping someone will buy my spot from me.
