I really think this kind of setup is the wave of the future. It's just the best of both worlds all the time. I love the quiet-as-my-G20 cruising, and then when I nail it the flaps open up and it is loud as hell. It's running straights at that point, basically. Also worth a 20whp or so bump when those flaps open at around 3200rpm. You can see it on a dyno graph and feel it in your SOTP. Then you get off the gas, and it sounds like a machine-gun, or if you watch this crap, a NASCAR. Definitely something I think other manufacturers will make their own versions of. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JKmIFu-U9r4 ^There is flaps closed, and flaps open. He looks to only be revving to about 3500-4K at highest. The crackles on decel start for me at around 4500-5K. Last edited by ImportConvert; 09-27-2011 at 12:52 AM. |
