I test drove one a few weeks ago... I was sadly disappointed

what happened to the MANLY mustang... I feel the mustang has lost its hardcoreness... The clutch felt almost electronic to the point a toddler could drive the car... so this really goes to ask the question... Has America become so soft that one of our great muscle cars is soo pussed out even a 90lb teenage girl could drive the v8?!?!?! Granted the car performed really well but just felt disconnected and unlike my old mustangs I owned in the past where my left leg was larger than my right from trying to drive the car in traffic LOL

Pretty much. Every car's clutch is nannyfied these days.

Modern clutches piss me off too...where were these streetable clutches good for 500ft /lbs when I was turboing my d16?

Ok, now I know Ive been corrupted by this damned thread. For a second this morn I considered goin to test drive the 5.0. I would never trade my Z for it(I dont think). But now Im interested to see what the fuss is about. I really need to go find a Stang diss thread so I can get back in the right mindframe! AND QUIT POSTING SO MUCH PEOPLE!! I put my phone down for a half hour and have to catch up on 3 pages!! Jeez!!
