You are totes jelly. It doesn't make sense but it happens. Example:

350Z with bolt ons sees a Mustang up ahead. "Ooh I can totally smoke a 4.6L!, I'm gonna catch up to this guy... oh wait... 5.0... i'm skurred."

Thought about it...the 5.0 starts a lot of conversations with older car guys that have kinda "checked out" of the scene since the 90s...I've been having fun meeting people

Same here. Like the Z, the new 5.0s are a good conversation starter. I have actually met a lot of nice Veterans with the Z. They'd always say something about how it reminds me of their first car when they got back from the war.

C5 Vettes are skurred. We are about even with a C6 non Z06, if not a tad bit quicker.

Stock for stock something like an Evo or an Sti is not that fast, but they have gobs of potential. You never really know if you're going to come across a stupid fast one or just a normal one.
