Same story with me. I thought lowly of the 5.0, and way highly of my z. That is.....until the test drive. That's why my z is sitting at the dealer lot all traded in

Btw guys, I went with the gt500 mufflers. Best price and sound

Yeah i had to jump on the opportunity. Latemodelresto had them for 255 plus shipping. Funny that i will get Tue exhaust before the car. Lol. But yeah for the price? No brainer. From what i read and spoke to, folks are very happy with it. It's essentially louder than stock for sure, but not as loud as say roush. The roush was nice but way too "poppy" for me.

I might do an x pipe next time. Heck even if I switch to a different axle back I can sell these. For 255 or so? Not too too hard to swallow.

There's a guy at my girlfriends appartment complex with an 05-09 GT that's pretty heavily modded with open exhaust. He revs the car constantly, even late at night. We are in the process of getting him kicked out since he has been a d-bag about everyone's complaints.

25 here, and loud cars got old after my first cammed/dumped mustang. Now, I like it when it's loud on/off the gas, quiet when cruising.
