You definitely want to book a room ahead of time. If you can book one now, that's the best.

Most people reserve their room for the next year when they are checking out of their room for the current year.

Save me a spot in your room until I can confirm whether I'll be able to go or not. Probably around January whenever I figure out my exact class schedule and they release the Spring semester calendar.
