Yeah, thats why i get annoyed when people spit times as proof. If you like your car for what it is, you don't need proof. It's purely subjective. No one (now) buys a z for track times. The guys still running it are on it because they're heavily invested in the platform. But that doesn't make it a bad car.
The z was designed with beating the caymans mag numbers in mind, and it turned out to do exactly that...without beating it on the track. As a result, the car is kind of an oddity--but for some people, it fits a perfect niche that no car was in before--sweet handling, small enough to be sporty, but roomy inside, and a relative ton of power. If you're looking for the z's mix, it's the perfect car. |

If I can run a 12.87 doing this:
You can imagine I'd run much quicker with traction. The car is good for low 12s on drag radials in stock trim.

Quick question for anyone that may have some insight into a prob I just ran into. I was over a fellow Z owners house an hour or so ago and went to show him how you can switch between tuning maps on my UpRev. I couldnt get the maps to switch at all!! To anyone unfamiliar w how you switch tunes on an UpReved car you hold one of the cruise buttons on the steering wheel and cycle using the cruise flippy switch on the wheel. The number of times you flick the flippy switch indicates which tune it should switch too then your cruise light on the dash blinks the same #of times the switch was flipped, further showing what tune was selected. What could possibly have made this stop working????
