My Stillen slotted rotors and Hawk HPS pads showed up today.

The new rotors look to be very nice, high quality stuff. I have used HPS pads before on my Z so I know how those are.

Took the day off of work to do the install today. I'll head out to the garage around noon to get started. I'm going to take pics and do a DIY/Review so I'll be sure to post that here.

I ran the front bar stock, and the stillen rear on full stiff and was fairly happy.

If you get it and don't like it you should be able to sell it easily and quickly, and for not much of a loss. Just keep the packaging.

Nooooooooooo....

btw, My order got picked up this week, so VIN should arrive in 3 weeks. So I won't be able to tell you how sweet the GT500's sound and how crisp the MGW shifter feels until mid december... :happydance:

I wouldn't go with Roush though Dan. Did you like the Invidia sound on our Z's? If you want wayyyy louder than that, then go Roush. If you want it same as Invidia's decibels, go GT500.

Red__Zed 10-13-2011 05:23 PM

I think I want a little more volume than the invidia had. I wanna hear my v8

shadoquad 10-13-2011 05:24 PM

The cops want to as well.

Red__Zed 10-13-2011 05:27 PM

Maybe you aren't familiar with the state of Alabama. I once got pulled over doing 85ish....and warned not to hold up traffic in the future.

Putting it simply, the early morning church service crew does 90+, and speeds get faste throughout the day.

shadoquad 10-13-2011 05:40 PM

It must be hell to own a 400+ hp car in such an environment :rofl2:

Balance is unnecessary, Red. What you need is more horsepower confidence in order to pass Lamborghinis like they're standing still.

I do pass lambo's like they're standing still...every day, as I drive by the lambo dealer.

No, it's even easier. You race up the coast line. The inland roads bend and weave, but you get a straight shot out on the ocean as the crow flies.
