I took a few pre-snow pictures (with shark fin antenna, mud flaps and winter tires installed) yesterday, cause when the white stuff flies, it'll be a while before the car is this clean again.

What winter tires did you go with? I'm about to do Michelin Alpin PA3's on my Evo. I don't expect heavy snow, but it is going to be <50 degrees for three months in a row.

Bridgestone Blizzak LM-60's

DJ, looks good. Mud flaps and winters actually look pretty great

Consumer Survey Results by Category I expect more plowed + salted streets than deep snow which is why the Michelin's may be a better target. Also the better dry performance should carry me further into Spring. |

ugh, I need to buy a new winter setup but I am so cheap. Any suggestions?

Did you run winters last year (ie. do you have some existing rims already)?

I opted to run winters on the OEM 2011 rims, and going to find a set of aftermarket rims for summer. So long as yours clear the calipers and such, they'll do for winter. You could always put on a set of spacers, if you want to push the wheels out a bit for cosmetic purposes.

I'm also running Blizzak LM-60s for the winter, but I opted to get a set of extra rims for them.
