the hood scoop gets absolutely battered in normal driving. i can't wait to get the car CB'd next week. even though it has a few issues already at least it won't get any worse.

The paint isnt nearly as the paint was on my 370z. My mirror on my Z scratched the first day of ownership. I've taken my WRX offroading in a sandpit twice and the paint still looks new

i think some of it may be color dependent. my ss is pretty solid, about halfway between the z and the mustang.

I think the STI is a great car except for one thing.....it's UGLY!.

my paint is pretty strong. I love the car besides the fact that the rear sags. Red_Zed what how do you like the wrx compared to your mustang?

i think i just got hit with a humongous rock. there's a lot of roadwork around my area so one probably took a good swipe at my car. i just need to grab me some touchup paint and it'll be fine.

I'll do a write up one of these days.... I like my subie, but the mustang revolutionized what I expect from cars in the 25-40k price bracket.

I need awd though, and if you need it, the subie is a no-brainer
