Wow , seems like everyone is getting AWD cars to complement the Z. I just picked this up for cheap. 08 24k miles. All stock exept for the ralliart mud flaps . I'm loving it for a DD. Got my daughter a matching recaro child seat so she can hang tight in the corners. :driving:

well i didn't care for the moonroof, and i can get the fog lights as a kit.

if i can't find a good 3rd party solution for like...say, a good hella fog light? i'll get the OEM wussy one.

shadoquad 10-04-2011 02:45 PM

phelan, I agree, you should get fogs. Scooby-rexes always look better with front fogs.

phelan 10-08-2011 01:20 AM

Day 13 of WRX ownership: I want swaybars.

Spec Jay 10-08-2011 03:23 AM

Heated seats is my selling point lol

Just picked up my wife's STi sedan from the dealership on Wed night. 3M clear bra put on on Thurs. I actually got to drive it on Friday. Very nice! The clutch pedal could be firmer and the seat could use a lumbar support adjustment. It feels a lot narrower than the Z. Got a chance to take a few pics.

Next up:
winter tires, Invidia catted down pipe and Q300 exhaust, Cobb AP stage II.

Red__Zed 10-08-2011 07:17 AM

love the color in those shots!

phelan 10-08-2011 09:54 AM

Very nice! Now I really want fogs. :(

Isn't Cobb AP Stage II for an intake and exhaust, not exhaust / downpipe?

Also, if you don't mind me asking how much did you pay for the clear bra? WAs it just hood and front? (I assume you just kept the clear bra already on the car and augmented with more?)

Spec Jay 10-08-2011 10:09 AM

stg 2 really only has to be downpipe

must be nice to have the oaks falling already!

djpathfinder 10-08-2011 10:21 AM

Thanks guys! Stage 1 = Cobb or tune. Stage 2 = downpipe or exhaust + tune (it's not very clear...but the last 3 people (including Spec Jay) say DP, so I'll buy that. Phelan, I got 24" hood (to top of hood scoop), full front bumper, front fenders, mirrors luggage strip and fog lights done for $600.

Spec Jay, our window for leaves changing color and falling is so small (2 weeks). I much prefer the slower and later transition in Seattle.
