Well, this guy apparently thinks he knows a thing or two about it. Oh. He also designed the suspension of the car he is driving.

If you watch it, you see him start the timer at the end of the fence after the blue part on the right side. And then he stops the timer way before then. Check it out. I don't know how many seconds that would add though.

Addition: Nice run and great weather. I like to see American cars do well.

I was watching other videos...and the timing areas for these videos are the same so I guess the time for the ZR1 is measured the same as the others....what a beast!

Nissan never designed to GTR to compette against the ZR1 so I don't think Nissan will make a move to improve against it. But against the Porsche 911 Turbo, they will definitely improve to compete against that.

5 seconds faster than than the GTR, but the GTR ran in semi-wet conditions. through a little moisture in the mix and see what happens to the ZR1 time.

That's only because Nissan spent the good part of the day ******* with suspension settings and tuning. GM just bolted in a camera and the required safety items and hit the ring with a showroom condition car. The zr1 does well dry or wet and has settings for either, but the ps cups are a dry tire. Let's see Nissan run a stock gtr.
