As far as mods, definitely go with a tune and either HFCs or test pipes - those are the only two things that really add solid power for these cars. A nice exhaust will compliment it all quite nicely. And assuming you don't have the Competition Package with the adjustable/electronic dampers, you can always get a nice suspension for a slightly lower stance.
thank you for both the compliment and the advice. I was thinking about a nice set of rims and tires and a tune, exhaust and other things come later because I have to recover the bank account after purchasing this car.

Yeah. The car is already pretty low as is, and it does sound good. So a tune and rims as your first mods would surely be perfect. I almost bought a pre-owned 6MT M3 last year, myself. And before I did, I planned out all of the mods for it.

Ultimately, I decided I wanted a brand new car and wanted to stick to 2-seats. So I traded in my 350Z for the 370Z after coming around this forum and realizing how great they can be with a few mods. But if I come into some money in the next 3 years...an E92 M3 is on my short list of cars to tuck away in my garage for daily use.
