Porsche is a "higher end" car, and they are loath to discount.
GM, Ford, Nissan, etc, don't have a reputation to protect regarding exclusivity, they sell Altima's, Cobalts, and Crown Vic's. The "crappiest" car that Porsche sells is the Boxter, which is still totally awesome compared to the "low man on the totem-pole" from more "working man" car companies. You are not going to have a dealer cutting sale price "just to move a car" with Porsche. |
