My pleasure. You figure out how my friends got over 700whp out of a stock S2K engine yet? Curious if you ever followed up with that/how they managed it? I stopped hanging out with that little click a few years ago, but was curious as to how that thing lived with that much boost and compression.

I've still not heard of anyone doing that for long on a stock engine. I know a few guys who got 700 ish with a thicker headgasket, but it usually didn't last long.

S2KfromHell lasted until it was wrecked, as I understand it. They got the S2K after I said the hell with the street scene here, so my info on it comes second and third hand, except for the engine dyno and I looked into that. Internally, it was stock, but that group was famous for "stock" stuff.

For example, they had a girl with a 99-04 year V6 mustang and Nitrous and a cam running low 12's@113.

Then we found out it had a custom manifold.
Then we found out it was a 4.0 truck engine.
Then we found out...

I think they were running a 3 mil HG, but I'm not sure on that. The numbers also came on a pretty optimistic dyno, as the quarter mile trap times indicate.

Like most things, the motor will last putting down 650 or so whp stock, but it's just a waiting game. It might last 30-40 runs, it might last one. You just don't know.

Sounds about right. Belonged to the crew known for blowing up cars just to beat someone, or, as I recall one night, just because they were curious what would blow up first if they threw boost at a car without a tune, lol

I mean, if you've got the money and the time...go for it. I suppose there are worse ways to waste them.

More time than money from what I know. Unless their fortunes changed with the Hanesville shale deal or something. Most have shops and just like to tinker.
