You should try the Brembo GTs. They have stiffer springs and shocks/struts than the regular GTs. And they've got the GT500 control arms and Pirelli PZero summer tires.

Has anyone else noticed the trend where every mustang thread turns gay at some point or another? :stirthepot:

They had a really good vid on the Mustang vs the M3. In the end; the M3 beat out the Mustang on their lap time by a 10th of a sec. Anyway; good vid if you care to watch:
YouTube - Super Coupes Track Attack! - 2011 Ford Mustang GT vs 2011 BMW M3 Coupe On a side note; I think most people would consider trading in their ride for a nice M3 even though BMW hasn't put out an interesting/good looking interior in years (granted that is just my op - one of the main reasons why I chose my G35 over a BMW to begin with) so I have to wonder about the whole 'bashing of American cars based off of interior alone' :) |

don't get me wrong...the new Mustang is NOICE but I still want a Z for my next car; just waiting to see what Nissan does for their 2013 model so I'll be keeping the G for a little while longer. Like everyone else; I hope they give it more power but who knows. In the end; I like both cars a lot; just like the looks of the Z a bit more than the Mustang.
|
They are both awesome cars for sure. Like I was saying earlier ideally I'd have a 370Z Roadster to go along with the 'Stang. That would be a pretty nice garage. :D

Doubt it will go anywhere with Gas prices still climbing.

i was about to get a Z, but i like to do a lot of engine work on my cars, and i would rather get a V8 than a Japanese v6. for modding. thats just me . |

Anyway, it's all EPA crap why we aren't drilling our own. What happened in the Gulf sure didn't help any. |

Here is an example: http://www.caranddriver.com/var/ezfl...61a7a3bb51.pdf vs. http://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/...take_road_test The 370Z pulled .04g more and stopped from 70mph in 2 feet less. http://www.roadandtrack.com/var/ezfl...06745e8d34.pdf http://www.roadandtrack.com/var/ezfl...a75bba7421.pdf Again, VERY close outcomes. The Z handles the slalom only 1.4mph quicker, and the GT out-brakes it from 60 barely, but the Z wins from 80, barely. The GT threw down some dismal skidpad numbers here, though. In the end, the 370Z MIGHT be a LITTLE more nimble, but it's a lot less powerful. |
No doubt on the power. That's the reason the stang owns around a track.
A diff of .04 G is pretty huge though, especially given how bad the understeer in the z is from the factory-- although the undersized mustang tires do play a role. |

forget the numbers here with this car and that for a second here,
going strictly off of Pure Sex of the Look of the car, which do you like the Better? the Mustang Muscle Look? Or the Sleek slender with Power....of the Z? exactly...the Z =) and im sure 8 out of 10girlswould definately hop in the Z =) FIRST lol |
