Test drove a 5.0 Today

I just changed my registration from Texas to Oklahoma with this thing... no front plate required, NO EMISSIONS TESTS!!! ahhhhh!!!! Aside from the otherwise archaic alcohol laws and drab scenery, I'm diggin this state.

I am going to the DMV tomorrow morning to apply for title and register the car.

Just did the sound tube mod... I pulled out the insulator and the plug inside the cockpit. It's definitely louder when you're on the throttle in the mid-range but nothing crazy. I might keep it like this until I get my CAI and exhaust, then I'll just remove the thing all together.

I havent done it yet but i'm curious how it sounds, i'm still holding off on the CAI/Tune combo, I wanna wait a few months to see if anyone comes along with something that produces astronomical gains

It's a pretty big increase in volume in the mid range. Idle and everywhere else sounds the same.
