I don't really view it that way at all, because the Mustang aftermarket is so huge you can really take the car wherever you want... street, strip, or track... it's endless. A little suspension work and you will turn the GT into an uncompromised corner carver.

I'm curious, wonder if theres any penis envy amongst the 4.6L owners about the 5.0, kinda like the 350Z owners about the 370, you hear anything like that M4A1?

I would be pissed if I bought a 4.7...

There always is a little bit, but I can tell you it's absolutely NOTHING like the 350/370 hate. There's a much tighter sense of community across the different Mustang models.

I always flash my lights at 350's, I've never gotten a response. I think they are all in a state of shock that a 370 owner even notice them. That or jealous rage, of course.

Probably more jealous rage.

I was at a gas station the other day with a 350 Nismo (he was at the pump ahead of me) and said "nice car" to him. He said in the most rude, pretentious way, "Yeah."

What a douchefaggot that guy ways.

I shockingly got the opposite reaction the other day heading up to the mountain. A 350 was getting on the highway and noticed me. He did the "cool" wave I guess out of appreciation and so I had no prob waving back.

I have met a lot of nice 350 owners for sure, but that doesn't change the fact that there is still a lot of hate from the 350 camp.

There's already tune+CAI packages out for the '11 Mustang GT. Heck, KW even has the V3 for the '11 Mustang GT already.

This is so true. I bought new LCA's, relocation brackets, springs, panhard bar, and sway bars and it completely transformed the car. It had very good handling.

That might seem like an extensive list of modifications, but that is the beauty of the domestic aftermarket. The parts are far less expensive, giving a much higher rate of return.
