Or walking to your home after getting off a bus and while walking you hear both the GT-R and the 370 from miles away roaring like hell.

and then you see your dad in your 370 coming in your street...half drifting tires smoking. followed by your mother in the GT-R with squeeling tires.

Then they see you and drive past you slowly

That's awesome! You should totally convince your dad that the Z needs a couple turbos

How many times must I explain it -_-.

We split the cost. I paid half of it and he paid half of it and I am paying him off. Thus making it both of our cars untill I pay him off

We wont ever do something like that because it wouldn't go past the yearly car checkup making it illegal to drive on the road.

But my father is a odd man. one moment he is against all form of mods on my car and then out of nowhere he is like "the 370 should look more sporty lets lower it and put on some fat tires and a body kit and oh yeah I might import a new complete brake system for the GT-R because you never know when I will go on a track" I am trying to get him interested into carbon ceramic brakes for the GT-R while I want some of that delicious greddy BBK

i would say step 1 is a midpipe hands down .. they run $500-800 and give you around 15hp and a totally different sound for the car.. its past the O2 sensors so not really any type of issue... its probably the most common simple and effective mod GTR owners do.. and a nice catback to be added after that if you want a differnet exhaust look..

next a COBB flash usually 40-70hp and on up from a canned to custom tune with some bolt ons like downpipes.. Cobb with exhaust parts make of the vast majority of modded GTRs on NAGTROC

as far as bored with the looks.. besides wheels and carbon trim addons there isnt alot to be done with the car with out getting really expensive really fast.. we have a lot of vendors who offer carbon replacement wings and lips... and a bunch of wheels to choose from

when the time comes aftermarket rotors and pads are a cheaper and better peforming option than OEM... the stillen AP jhooks or vaned combined with some carbotech pads are probably the most cost efficeint to performance ratio way to go

thats a brief overview of the most popular tuning route for these cars

My opinion is the opposite. It is way too "normal" for such a beast. I probably would have looked at the GTR if its looks were a little more exotic and mean.

Again just my opinion.

It looks like a cross between a 350Z front with a Vette back. The flow of the overall lines just doesn't match moving from front to back of the car. It's as if there were two designs and it was decided a compromise would have to do. Real FUGLY for sure...

The GT-R should have never happened and the current engine of the GT-R should have been dropped into the Nismo Z and that become the high-sport end for Nissan to capitalize upon. Call it the Nismo 370Z GT-R.

I know EXACTLY what you mean! my dad saw a showcar 350 that was all done up and know he wants to get a second 370 so we can slam it, boost it, and slap on some deep dishes.

Knowing him he will probably get a 370 roadster next year because he apparently prefers the 370 to the GTR

I was being politically correct. Ok, to be exact,

"it is ugly, no lines to it, it looks cheap, and done half-azzzzzd."

it needs a body kit!!!!!!!!!!
