Thank you Nissan again this is the best news I heard all week. You can thank the average consumer vehicle shopping how has limited knowledge of the current vehicle market for hybrid and electric cars being the wave of the future. I don’t think it’s in Nissan’s best interest to raise the price point of the GTR because it is out of the hands of many and going hybrid and adding all the weight from all the batteries/equipment would be a poor choice as the GTR is already heavy as it is. The pricing of owning a brand new base GTR has only went up by a 1-3K since the unveiling of the GTR in 2007. For Nissan/Infiniti to remain popular in the current vehicle market they need the GTR and 370Z models despite units sold. The coming of the new Z35 400Z would be a smart move for Nissan to make! The one good thing Nissan owners have is excellent resale value for the first 5-6 years of ownership when purchasing new and the Nissan GTR and 370Z are desired and wanted Japanese sports cars in the current vehicle market today despite sales. Support Nissan/Infiniti as much as you can so they will continue building our cars.
