My point was a freakin' civic vs.. say... a standard wrx. You may not find the advantage in AWD on a track as it being a win. Maybe the wrx is less challenging in the corner? That's about it. You can still get the job done

There will be some advantages to AWD on road but the higher the horsepower, the more useful it is... the lower the HP. For urban use? Unnecessary, but always good to have.

My point is FWD well sorted can run with FWD based AWD cars with low HP numbers. The Mazda 3 did it. Even with nightmarish torque steer and cornering weaknesses.

All that said... RWD or go home!
Torque steer? Blah...watch this video and go home lol Id take this any day over a POS ford hocus pocus rs & vw gti.

2017 Honda Civic Type R Continues To Impress In Latest Reviews

Infiniti is suppose to infinitize the MB A250. I think if that happens? Fvck all those hatches.

Especially if infiniti makes an AMG copy?!

Yes they did it with Miatas, S2000, GT350, Focus RS, and various 911s. BtW there are lots of unsold 350 and RS sitting on dealer lots. Down to MSRP now and I bet by October they will be discounted or offer special financing on them.

Yup, every time Porsche adds a new letter behind the numbers 911 or the word "Cayman", there seems to be a feeding frenzy. Happened to Alfa too. Greedy dealers and gullible "here, take my wallet" buyers. Makes one think the economy isn't as bad as some would have us think!

Flame suit on...I wish I would have read more on this civic earlier. I would have jumped on the list. But I really, really need a fun DD sedan to bang around town in. Put a deposit down today, paying sticker...Dealer already sold their first two, 3rd was inside waiting for the buyer to pick it up. I'm the 4th but won't even lay hands on it till 2018. Worth the wait, I'm a die hard Honda fan since college. When I need RWD I will jump in my Nismo!

Would love a PW to match my Nismo, but not offered. My request is Champion White, Integra Type R days, brings back memories. Man I am gerting old. But the dealer doesnt know what color they are getting. I could live with black, but not the red or blue. And Im paying sticker for the first time in my life...

Looking like additional variants could possibly be making there way if this model is successful (which it looks like it will be)

I am very happy with my Mugen-modded Fit but I could imagine the CTR as a possible option in a few years for me.

Nice find.... I could see myself in a type R GT W/ AWD. A car like this would make a fun manual. Honda used to get these right back in the day, before they became total screw ups. Put the hand brake back in Honda and I'll worship this thing.

I would be surprised to see an AWD option, would be going against the history of the model but would be better in line with the times. We'll just have to see what happens!

Lucky....
Paying sticker is a great deal since most dealers are ramping the price up due to demand.
It will definitely be fun! Congrats!

People paid stupid money for the Mugen Civic Si a few years ago.....and still want stupid money for them. All it was was suspension bits, really nice wheels, some interior bits, and a nice blue color.
