From a fellow vette owner I'm sorry to see that. Glad you're ok though. You can pick up a '06-7 Z for about 35-40K with low miles. Are you on the corvetteforum.com?

I loved my '04 modded Z but it's in Bahrain now

I prefer the C5Z over the C6Z. I may at some point buy a C6Z, but right now, I just miss my C5.

The feeling was very raw and I always felt like I was directly connected with the road. Driving that car made me feel so completely different.
