Just like Nissan was the first to put DRM on an automatic transmission and SRM on a manual as with a lot of Nissan industry firsts. It's ok if u have hate for all the non Z Nissan's you want to. But give props where props is due.

give me an example of where another brands copied da juke?

wat nissan needs to make is a versa note nismo with a 2L turbo dat can keep up with a fiesta ST or focus. it needs to be a hatch with 5 doors.. and actually quick. i mean quick like a mazdaspeed 3 at minimum.

:iagree: As a car manufacturer, they do a lot of things right. I don't necessarily hate their cars. I dislike the base Sentra very much because I drove one daily for over a year (another admittable irrational bias ;)).

But what I very much hate about Nissan is how they treat people. A perfect example is the legal battle they got into with an individual over the domain nissan.com. But one can also look at how they treat their paying customers - ESCL and CSC failure immediately come to mind on this forum. Unfortunately, this money-first mindset and ruthless business tactics is par for the course in big business these days :(

yah, their customer affairs is laughable. completely agree dere. but i suppose if dey dont have any other appealing offerings, we have nothing to worry about. infiniti folks get better treatment, i believe.

Let me clarify so my words cannot be skewed, others may not have copied the actual Juke, they copied the idea and have taken aim at the Juke. Since the Juke entered the market and with huge success, many others have entered their own versions of a mini compact SUV. When I bought my first Juke, a 2011 AWD S model brand new, they did not know how to classify the car. They called it an "AWD 5dr Wagon I4". Since others have entered the market they branded the type as "Mini Compact/Crossover SUV". Others in the segment are:

Fiat 500X 2014 - Present
Jeep Renegade 2015 - Present
Buick Encore 2012 - Present
Hyundai (unnamed to date) Coming 2017
Mazda CX-3 2015 - Present
Toyota C-HR Coming 2017
Kia Soul (2nd Gen) 2013 - Present

To name a few.

Infiniti is a luxury brand, of course they get better treatment. They get a certain class of people who buy them, people with more money....

Pretty sure VW exclusively builds cars on Fridays, then, based on my experience.

Off the top of my head...
Chevy Trax
Jeep renegade

The key word in my statement was "conceptually"

I am not always the best with words, "conceptually" is definitely what I meant.

honestly i dont care for VW's, but mine has been fine. maybe because my GTI was made in mexico? might sound ironic but den it makes sense cause mexico's trying real hard right now to get in the game to make a name for themselves.

GTI and Golf-R are like da only 2 cars dat caught my eyes from VW. the rest are meh.. including A3's and A4's. primary reason waz i wanted to try da DSG. u know where im heading next.. GT-R territory.

Hydraulic steering and, a hand brake would put me in a Q60. So close but yet so far.

Performance wise, the Golf R is GREAT. What kept me out of it was it's the most BORING LOOKING CAR ON THE PLANET!!!! Yuck!!!

There's only one hot hatch I want. And that's the A45amg. Waiting for the confirmation if in fact it is coming in 2018

kenchan 10-05-2016 08:12 PM

Hydraulic steering is definitely good but dat Q60 is butt ugly and huge.

Wat I like about the GTI is the simple styling with little accents here and dere just enough to make it comical looking. Too many cars out dere with crazyarse wavey lines. I understood why it was a benchmark of hot hatches. Plenty of modern tech inside too and fast. At least mine can easily keep up with a 370Z.

kenchan 10-05-2016 08:23 PM

Benz really lost it in da design department. Dat hatch u mentioned. Fugly. I hate da current benz facia. Who dafaq messed with a great design dey had?
