It looks like you guys are letting some purported leaks on some 3rd rate auto news sites override your logic and reason.
1) The "news" is BS 2) Toyota could not sell it. I am 90% certain I will buy the new Supra/FT-1 (if that is what it is called), but having a BMW engine is a certain deal-breaker. 3) The 86 has a Toyota engine even though it was co-developed by Subaru. If Toyota were to use another companies engine, then it would be Subaru. 4) Correct me if I am wrong, but Toyota (or Lexus) has never used another manufacturer's engine. |
