It's not a tune that gives it the extra power. The motor and tune are the exact same as the standard stingray. The difference is the GS comes standard with the NPP exhaust. HP on the GS vs a stingray with NPP option equals the same HP rating. You are right about the gearing though, which does improve butt dyno feel as well as track numbers.[/QUOTE] Wouldn't changing gears on a transmission be considered a tune? |

N I thought the npp exhaust only puts out +5hp/+5tq. So I figured the extra +5tq came from the transmission tune. |
Love the car, hate those "racing" stripes on the fenders.

Just learned that my ex-coworker is having electrical gremlin troubles in his '16 vette. Told me he had it back to the dealer 6 times for different issues that still ain't fixed. :icon14: |
Not a Grand Sport, went over to a friends place to BS, walked in garage and seen this - 2016 Z06, so far has 700 miles on it. Spent the evening helping put carbon fiber accents on the car, was drooling the entire time. http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a3...826_214637.jpg

Though it's slightly y off topic to this thread. I didn't think it worth the effort to make a new thread... yet!! Chevy hinted at 6.2litre DOHC engine for the ZR-1. NO hint of the rumored turbos.

My experience about the c7; it's just too much of a car for where I live right now. Backroad carving is NOT what it was built for, sure it does it well but the Z is way more at home, maybe it has to do with dimensions but I feel like the c7 is built for states with long flat wide roads, I can't imaging how out of place a c7 would be at the dragon.
