I don't get on Vette, BMW, or Gixxer forums………utterly fan-boy juveniles. I also gave up on the Vortex as well. Although my Nismo was two cars ago, I still enjoy this forum. Rennlist, which I'm on…..can be a bit snotty.

Chevrolet Corvette Z06 MSRP 79,999
Nissan GTR Nismo MSRP 150,000

Also, ZR1. Personally I'd get the 'vette and have a lot of money left over to have fun with. That's not to say they are both amazing cars.

Z06 was loaded at 105K as it had the Z07 package with carbon brakes and cup tires all things the NISMO didnt have. the 105K Z06 is arguably better equipped for the track as tested

it should win because it costs more pricing logic also breaks down when the 150K NISMO also out lapped the $351K 650S Spyder the same day

Seeing the Z06 fanboys showing the butthurt is classic. Randy Pobst reaction was classic. Made my day. I just wish they would fine tune the Nismo 370z for us poor folks who can't afford a Nismo GTR.

Amazing how that heavy GTR is so fast! The Z06 has got more power and weighs 300 lbs. less too...Yeah yeah, AWD launch, I know. But still it's amazing for what it can do.

But the Z06 had level 2 aero and was a manual.

im pretty sure the Z06 had the stage 3 aero because isnt that was the clear wickerbill and that seemed to be the problem. it was causing a lot of drag limiting its straight line acceleration. It was down 7+ mph to the GTR. MT removed the rear clear wicker bill that made it more like a level 2 aero. that improved the speed my 1MPH but made the car harder to control.
