.... Moar POWAH! with 45k to spare I think you could definitely put something together to be more competitive with the GTR if not surpass it on the track.

For those speaking to money argument... I will say that it is a valid argument. Throw $45k into a Z06 with Z07 package and lets run them again... You are paying for more technology and exclusivity with the GTR nismo.
