This past weekend was an event with NASA and you do have to be a member with them to participate. It is very easy to join and only requires a small enrollment fee to get in. Most events are put on by various clubs so you just have to join it and sign up for the event you want. This was my first year with NASA but I have been with other (sportbike) clubs before and they put on a pretty great event.
