Seattle Area

Who in the greater Seattle area has their 370Z?

Pushing_Tin 02-06-2009 08:45 PM

Congrats Nikon!!! Let me know if you ever make it down my way.

Better Pictures

Here are a couple better pictures than what I initially posted.

I'd like to get in on some drives. I know there are some fun roads down South. When the weather turns more predictable and less wet, it would be great to organize some events and get a bunch of 370Z people together...check out mods, do a fun drive, eat etc.

BrokenVow 02-26-2009 10:13 AM

Puyallup Nissan, eh? I was just down there poking around and out of the 4 cars they only had one that was a 6spd. Looks like you snatched up the other. I got my 350z in Fife, so I'll probably go there when I finally decide to get the 370z. But that probably won't be until next year.

Nikon FM 02-26-2009 06:28 PM

I was told I snagged another person's order. Whoever they were ordered (my car) but got excited and bought a new car off the show room floor (could not wait for the car). Whoever it was ........has good taste

I went through a couple psycho dealers before finding some level headed people to work with on the purchase. Puyallup was great.

Going shopping tomorrow

Taking the Sky out to go looking.:driving: Start looking in Auburn then other areas. I'm only home for the weekends, when I'm in LA during the weekdays I might look around the area there. Any Seattleites have any dealer preferences let me know. I'm in no rush to buy, but if the price and options are right I will take the plunge.:hello:

I sent you a PM

Cars and Coffee

I've been told that every Saturday there's a car get together at the Starbucks parking lot South of the Tukwila REI (near South Center Mall). The offiical meeting time is 9AM but people come by whenever they can make it. I went last week and with nicer weather this is really a fun event. I'd like to propose that we who own 370Zs in the greater Seattle/Tacoma area (further out as well) pick a Saturday and show up in force. Last week I parked next to two Caman S cars.....fun to talk and compare stories.

Thoughts?

Just picked up my Z today and I live in Seattle. Hey all! Anyone going down to the Sat meetup Nikon_FM mentioned? Sounds like fun.

Nikon FM 03-06-2009 12:10 AM

Sounds like a plan! What is the recommended show time? Also, any show stoppers with weather? I drive mine everyday (also wash/wipe down everyday when I get home) so I'm good to go, wet or dry day.

What color did you buy?

bryguycbr 03-06-2009 11:10 AM

Bryguycbr can't make it. Going to Puyallup Nissan to get my new ride.
I'll try next weekend.

Per bryguycbr's schedule can we plan on next Saturday (03/14)? That way we will have 3 at least. Any takers from Tacoma or further South (Oregon)?

pagefaulted 03-06-2009 03:18 PM

That works for me; I kinda wanted to sleep in this Saturday :) What times work for you Nikon FM and bryguycbr?

PS: My color is platinum graphite

People start showing up around 9AM. Early arrival allows for parking choice. The parking lot is really big so no real dilema. I'd prefer 9AM if that works with everyone.

9am works for me.

Cars and Coffee

Who is in for this Saturday's (3/14) Cars and Coffee? Rain of shine or only if there is no rain?

The event is casual (all kinds of different cars and styles), people bring their cars in around 9AM at the Starbucks parking lot just South of the Tukwila REI.

pagefaulted 03-12-2009 09:51 PM

Rain or shine works for me :)

Nikon FM 03-13-2009 08:32 AM

I'm there

I'm going (rain or shine). Hopefully some local lurkers might catch this post and show as well.

bryguycbr 03-13-2009 10:48 PM

First thing in the morning I have to run to Nissan Puyallup to get my license plates. They could of mailed them to me, but my temp tag expires this Saturday. Since I'm out if town Monday thru Friday, driving to get the plates was my best option. I'll stop by on my way to Bellevue Saturn, they owe me money on the service contract when I traded in the Sky. I have to show them the mileage from the odometer disclosure statement. The Saturn in Renton is kind of folding up. Rain or Shine I'll stop by.

Nikon FM 03-14-2009 01:24 AM

Okay, and good luck on everything.

BrokenVow 03-14-2009 09:12 AM

I'd like to go to this, but I don't think I can make it. Well, I CAN, but my willpower is just not there. I work nights, so I literally just got home (7am.) I work again tonight and it's hell if I don't get a good 7 hours. I know, I'm a wuss. I'll keep my eyes open for the next one so I can take the day off and not worry about falling asleep.

Nikon FM 03-14-2009 12:51 PM

I went and stayed from 9:10 to 9:30..............no show

I have to conclude that (Cars and Coffee) + rain = FAIL

I could have been more patient and waited longer but I really wasn't getting the feeling that many people were going to show.

I'll hit this again when the sun is showing.

pagefaulted 03-14-2009 01:02 PM

I was there between 8:50 and 9:10. And came back at 9:30. I think I just missed you.

I could not find a Starbucks to the south. I did find one to the west. Is that the one?

Nikon FM 04-26-2009 02:36 PM

Re-post.......How many 370Zs now in the greater Seattle area?

Repost, but with cars now becoming more available I thought I'd take the "roll call" again.

With nicer weather approaching it would be great to organize some drives etc.

bryguycbr 04-30-2009 07:07 PM

I'll be around this weekend, taking care of some business in the Renton area. I'll stop buy the Starbucks near the REI (SouthCenter Mall) area Saturday morning.
Is this the Starbucks close to Target?

My service has been down. Sorry I missed the post.

I was working last week in Renton and saw a PG with persimmon interior parked in the parking lot.......was that yours?

bryguycbr 05-04-2009 01:49 PM

April 24 I was at Boeing MFC, a few hours in the morning. Must of been some other PG, my interior is black.

Nikon FM 05-04-2009 08:16 PM

Wow, another 370Z then in the area. I almost left a card on the windshield with the forum address but didn't, due to how picky some people can be. Probably should have since I have not seen the car after that.

2bits 06-24-2009 03:36 AM

Hi all. Thought I'd resurrect the Seattle thread. Wassup?

:nutswinger:

Nikon FM 06-25-2009 05:47 PM

I thought this thread was dead. Nice to see another Seattle are person post! I tried to set up a meet some time ago but bad weather and timing destroyed the situation.

Should we try and do the Starbucks cars and coffee again now that the weather is somewhat predictable? It would be pretty cool to have 5+ 370Z there.

2bits 06-26-2009 12:25 AM

Sounds good.

bryguycbr 06-26-2009 09:33 AM

I'll show up.

Nikon FM 06-26-2009 04:51 PM

Tomorrow ~9AM out in front of Border's Books and the Starbucks. I'll be there.

bryguycbr 06-26-2009 07:11 PM

I'll be there around 9-ish

2bits 07-07-2009 02:01 AM

aw, damn. I wasn't expecting anything so soon and wasn't keeping a close eye on this thread. Will be at the next one.

Nikon FM 07-07-2009 07:36 PM

First Saturday of August?

2bits 07-09-2009 12:07 AM

Can't do that. Got something already planned for the 1st.

Spec Jay 07-29-2009 12:52 AM

should have my 370 by the end of august!

Nikon FM 07-29-2009 08:08 PM

Nice! What color etc?
