Cars and Coffee Meet?

Saturday morning?

Spec Jay 07-30-2009 10:40 PM

i work at 1130 :/
plus the spec v is going back to stock right now and i doubt you'd want my honda around lol

Nikon FM 07-31-2009 09:24 PM

There are a few people around who have gone before. I was hoping more people would speak up. It would be great for the forum members in the Seattle area to show up in force at an event or perhaps even do a Rainier loop or perhaps crash a 350 meet:tup: Feel free to PM me and this goes for anyone who wants to meet an an event.................. Good way to share information on who does good performance work, touch-up/detail, suspension, track set ups etc.

Spec Jay 08-01-2009 10:36 AM

maybe next time. just busy with work and other random errands.
speaking of performance work etc.
i do pretty much any mechanical work and exterior detailing too. everything on the sentra has been done by me. except for welding up the downpipe. I graduated from UTI back in september. although to alot of people that means nothing lol.
oh by the way anyone know of a good ventureshield installer?

atsnyde 08-05-2009 05:55 PM

Just got my 370Z :)

Hello all, I just purchased (last week) my 370Z.

Blue, Touring, Sport! Had to get the Sport!

I'm in Redmond, but purchased in Puyallup.

Call me TJ :)

Nikon FM 08-05-2009 07:18 PM

Congrats!!

I'd like to see the blue in person. There is a standing possible get together at the Starbucks "cars and coffee" mentioned in this thread. Saturday at 9 works best for my schedule.... other people/cars roll in and out of the area starting around 9-9:30ish.

atsnyde 08-12-2009 12:34 AM

When is the next meet?

Just wondering when the next get together is ... and where :)

I'm good for this Saturday same time/place as previously posted.

Plates

I picked up my plates today and there seems to be an issue with the front bumper. Basically, the pre-placed areas for the plate screws are too far apart.

The Puyallup dealership didn't have any brackets for the 370 and had to order one (100 bucks, and they charged me).

Anyone else have this problem with their front plates?

Nikon FM 08-16-2009 12:59 AM

Some people in the Service department at Puyallup are complete morons. Be very careful with them. I've started to look for other service departments, possibly Auburn. Some of the people are okay though, so as long as the work and outcome is exactly specified up front they will run by the book. I have an extra hole in my front plate (plastic) area due to them discovering the hole spacing issue......The sales part was fantastic going through them and I have no regrets and would continue to recommend them. The service department though.......I'm starting to get irritated with their lack of knowledge and passing that off to the customer in terms of a bad job or charging as much as possible (too much time for a specific task).

Good luck!

Spec Jay 08-16-2009 01:25 AM

when i went to go test drive the chicane yellow in puyallup their sales staff was excellent as soon as i told them i have a vpp claim. the salesman that came along with me didn't let me really get on it at all but it gave me a good idea.
i ended up getting mine at advantage in bremerton. i bought my sentra from them so i figured why not.
12 more days!

/edit
if you would like to hold off till the 29th or 30th im game for a meet. the car is gonna get clearbra'ed as soon as i buy it. ill probally drive around mt rainier that same weekend too

I haven't even put my front plate on, if/when I get asked by the police (fix it ticket) I'll do it then. The Puyallup guys gave me a bracket, They were going to install it while putting on the clear bra, I'm glad they didn't. I don't care much for Puyallup Nissan workmanship. They chipped my wheel while installing the splash guards, they replaced the wheel with a brand new one. I had Infinity of Fife install the Eibach lowering springs, (installed for $460), I bought thru this forum. They lowered a bunch of their G37's. They did a good job and the car seems to ride even better than the stock springs. They are having a car show today, I'll stop in and show my car.

atsnyde 08-17-2009 09:19 PM

I stopped by the "meet and greet" place and got a coffee at Starbucks. I didn't see anyone else there.

I did stop by kind of late Saturday (10am).

Did anyone else show up Saturday?

A week from Saturday is another possible time (8/29).

atsnyde 08-18-2009 02:37 AM

bryguycbr 08-18-2009 11:53 AM

It was great meeting y'all.

By the way, I got them to refund the cost of the front plate holder.

I'll be taking a vaca soon and I might just go for an "extended" drive.

I'm glad that happened!. Great meeting a couple more local 370 owners. It would be good fun to do a Rainier loop before the weather shuts things down.

Spec Jay 09-02-2009 01:20 AM

NWN is doing a mt. baker run this sunday. but the weather isn't looking so great.

well theres that...

and my car still isnt here >=/

Nikon FM 09-02-2009 09:58 PM

Good weather is important but I guess having your car is too.......What's up with that Bremerton dealership? Sometimes getting shipments bogged down at the rail-yards happens....good luck with that!

service has been good. my salesman has returned my calls every time ive bugged him.
they said it was something about getting the containers filled. my guess is the production cutting threw off the container count.

Spec Jay 09-07-2009 03:34 AM

K so now scheduled for delivery on the 18th but will most likely be in earlier than that.
so, if weather permits a mountain drive on the 19th? (my birthday!)

Nikon FM 09-07-2009 12:37 PM

I'm good for a drive on the 19th! Post up as the date gets closer.

Good times:tup::tup:

Spec Jay 09-16-2009 02:33 AM

shes here! already put 100 miles on lol

Nikon FM 09-16-2009 07:13 PM

Congrats! I'll be looking for pictures soon.

Let me know about Saturday...where did you want to drive, time .....

Spec Jay 09-17-2009 01:41 AM

killed my first tank already.
ventureshield goes on friday morning.

as for the drive, before noon for sure. i hear mt. baker has better roads than mt. rainier.

Nikon FM 09-17-2009 10:59 PM

Big drive going to Baker /Hwy 542. I'm okay with it.

I do have a few alternatives too. 90, 97, 153, 20. Food in Winthrop, 20 to 530, Burn Rd, Menzel Lake Rd, Woods Creek Rd, 203 Preston/90. The idea is how many curves per mile driven.

I'm good with any idea though. Give me a time and place for Saturday morning.

Anyone else good for a long drive on Saturday?

I'll PM contact info tomorrow. Hopefully there will be a few of us.

Spec Jay 09-18-2009 01:57 AM

i agree with curves/mile. anything with a high ratio of that is win in my book.

and wow

90, 97, 153, 20. Food in Winthrop, 20 to 530, Burn Rd, Menzel Lake Rd, Woods Creek Rd, 203 Preston/90

is quite the drive! it may be a bit too much for me

i mapped it out too
from:I-90 E to:Winthrop, WA to:Sauk Valley Rd/WA-530 to:Burn Rd to:Menzel Lake Rd to:Woods Creek Rd to:47.522667,-121.928945 - Google Maps

Nikon FM 09-18-2009 05:04 PM

A good majority of the drive is in Eastern WA. Since we have rain forecasted for tomorrow this may be a good bet. Depending on how things are going/time of day etc... we can either go Hwy 2 from Leavenworth and eliminate the top half, or possibly an out and then back to and from Winthrop?

Let me know the time and meet place. ....Anyone else out there?

atsnyde 09-18-2009 05:23 PM

Sorry folks.. Can't make it ... UF vs. Tennessee!!!

Go Gators!

Spec Jay 09-18-2009 07:38 PM

a in n out affair is better for me ;) meet up and time anytime/place is fine for me. i dont really know the eastside well so you can set it.
bruce: ill call you on my break.
